VDH DM 2022 in Coswig is over and it so damn hot...

But Alex and Kritzi finally made it: 87 / 91 / 79 Points and the 30th place of 56 dogs!

In Phase A Tracking Kritzi missed the first Article, which was very expensive. In Phase B Obidience she could show her potential, we are very satisfied an in Phase C she was lacking of manner...we have to work more on her obidience skills in this discipline! All grips very tight, strong and full, but this ears have been out of order....

Finally, on November 6th, we completed our final examination for the year 2021. Our goal was to qualify for the DM / ISPU WM 2022 and we did it! Alex again achieved a solid performance with Kritzi with a total of 98/94/97. 289 points. I was annoyed with myself because I lost the leash in the track after the 2nd item and thought that the competition was over ... well until the stupid me had grabbed the leash again, Djoey (who had a V-track until then) already searched until the last corner and then also referred the last item ... Thanks my little monster, you saved the 81 points!

In the obedience she was totally over-the-top, loud and needed a double command for the standing exercise. The filing was also restless this time - so 85 points.

In the `Schutzdienst´, she then went crazy; obedience suffered a bit too - but she was completely in her element: 92 points!

From October 28th to October 31st, 2021 the 29th ISPU WM IGP3 took place in Germany - Werlaburgdorf. After Alex had drawn without luck (1^st team) on Wednesday, things didn't really go as planned from the beginning on ... At first Kritzi was already mentally at the `Schutzdienst´ in the obedience and immediately sprinted to bark at the first blind and then realized that it was probably not that far after all. The obedience itself was otherwise really great. In the `Schutzdienst´ she could no longer be stopped ... full of vigor, she forgot her obedience and then did not want to leave the helper during the back transport - disq. In the end, we didn't have to hit the road for a long time to get to Werlaburgdorf, but of course it was annoying given the months of training. But our sports partners are animals. With good and bad days - just like us. But we know what we have in them and what they are able to achieve! We are a team after all.

On September 25th, 2021 Alex and I (Sandra) participated very successfully in the DVG national competition with Kritzi and Djoey. Of course, Alex hit the bull`s eye again and took first place, qualifying for the DVG Bundessiegerprüfung in April 2022. I competed in the first IGP3 with Djoey and despite, or perhaps because of it, even ended up on 5th place. Sometimes it's not that bad to be a little crazy ...

AND we can then eventually take part in the DVG Bundessiegerprüfung. Djoey just likes to imitate her mother ... Kritzi has brought home the title of national champion with 97/90/87 a total of 270 points, Djoey with 93/90/87 a total of 270 points is great in the game.

From September 3rd to 5th, 2021 the PSK DM took place again. With 27 participants, of which 9 failed, Kritzi was able to secure 5th place again as the best female dog. If she would have left out in the protection service and coped with the obedient parts better, there would easily have been a place on the podium ... but well... Nevertheless we are very proud and happy to got a total of 268 points with 95/96/77 TSB "a". Videos on obedience and protection can be found on our YouTube channel or on working dog !

Lakritze von Elberfeld is now his first female schnauzer and is absolutely convincing! Willingness to work like a Malinoir ... Only just out of flaky age and she became PSK national champion with unbelievable ease, qualified for the PSK DM 2019 and - despite the scorching heat - took 5th place as the best female dog. We are curious where the journey will go ...

With D´Zidane vom Hatzbachtal his favorite sports companion to date, died in August 2019. Zidane became national champion (2014) and vice national champion (2013) of the PSK national championships, took part in the ISPU World Championships three times (2011 7th place / 2012 7th place and best subordination & 2014 18th place), three times at the VDH DM (2012 23rd place, 2013 22nd place & 2014 28th place) and two more times at the PSK DM (2013 10th place & 2014 4th place). Participating in many large and international events in just a few years and qualifying for the coming year is not possible with every dog. We still miss D'Zidane ...

His second giant schnauzer Xabo vom Hatzbachtal followed. With him, Alex became DVG regional vice-champion in 2006. He competed twice at the PSK DM (2005: 22nd place & 2007: 7th place) and gained experience at various other national events.

With Apollo vom Pötzchen, his first own giant schnauzer, Alex already took part in the German Giant Schnauzer Championships in 1999 and 2000 (PSK DM). At the ISPU World Championships in Gärtringen in October 2000, he was able to achieve a solid 12th place on his very first international competition.
